July 2 - Native Plants: The plants that are native to the North American Continent are many. See some of them first hand and learn why they are a good choice in your garden.

July 9 - Hydrangeas: The Snow Ball Hydrangea is an all time favorite, but it is not the only hydrangea out there. Learn about the Pee Gee Hydrangea, with its many cultivars and the Oak Leaf Hydrangea as two of our long time favorites. We will also discuss the Climbing Hydrangea and the Lace Cap Hydrangea.

July 16 - Drought Tolerant Gardens: Once established, many plants need very little water. These are the perfect choice for the sandy soils of the South Shore, Katama, and Chappy as well as the other sandy spots on the Island.

July 23 - Herbs and Herb Gardens: Annual and Perennial herbs for culinary use. How to grow them successfully. Danga Gabis teaches you all you need to know, followed by an Herb Container Making Workshop {Bring a container and $ for soil and plants} PLEASE call 693-8511 to register for the Workshop.

July 30 - Extending the Season in your Gardens: Many plants bloom in the fall, others have berries or beautiful Fall Color, find out which are the best on MV
